What a great banjo my Goodtime is! I stopped at Elderly Instruments in Lansing Michigan and played several of their high end banjos. Then the very last banjo I picked up was a Goodtime openback. All I can say is- Wow. I think it is the best sounding banjo there! Also It is very easy to play, a fact I notice after playing several expensive banjos. It is also very light, an important fact for someone like me who has a bad back! The goodtime is good for novices like me who have never worked on a banjo. It was easy to tinker with it by changing the head and the bridge. All I had to do was follow the directions in the Goodtime Maintenance manual. A great sounding banjo is now even better. My grand daughter, Megan loves my Goodtime. As soon as she visits, she runs over to play with the banjo. I never worry she'll break it, because the Goodtime is so well built it can take a lot of grandkid use! Thanks Deering for making such a wonderful banjo! Bill J. Comstock Park, Michigan |
