What a difference the tailpiece can make

"I was pleased with the Presto tail piece that came with my 2003 Sierra and bought the True Tone on the recommendation of Deering staff. i could not be happier. . I am amazed with the difference that the True Tone has made. It sustains the notes and gives them a clarity that is fantastic. The tuning is greatly enhanced. Each fret registers the true note---the tuner needle hits dead center. The harmonics are true and clearly audible. Since the day I bought it I enjoyed this banjo but this True Tone tailpiece showed me its true potential. Thanks"

"The Deering True Tone Tailpiece combined with the Deering Smile Bridge has taken the sound of my 22 year old 2003 Sierra Banjo to the next level. "The new True Tone Tailpiece that Deering so graciously replaced for my maple blossom that broke in half at the tension hoop after years of use, workes and looks great. Wasn't to sure on how to install it correctly but Deering had an excellent video on how to set up the tailpiece that answered all my questions. What a great resource for your banjo questions. how do you install the tru tone tail peice on to the goodtime open back 5string banjo: You will need an "L" bracket to do that. Call the factory to order one; $2.75 plus shipping for the L-bracket.
