Deering Banjo Company Presents the World Renowned Kruger Brothers In Concert
San Diego, CA Dec 5th, 2011 - Deering Banjo Company is proud to present masters of bluegrass and acoustic music, The Kruger Brothers who will perform live, original music at the Performing Arts Theater on the campus of Cuyamaca College in El Cajon, CA at 6pm on Tuesday January 24th, 2012.
The performance will come hot on the heels of the Winter NAMM Show (National Association of Music Merchants) in Anaheim just two days before which will see the North Carolina based trio making several appearances over the weekend, including appearances at the Deering booth.
Since a formal introduction to American audiences in 1997, their remarkable mastery of their instruments and unique take on the American Songbook have made the Kruger Brothers highly respected within the world of acoustic music. The trio, which comprises of bassist Joel Landsberg, guitarist Uwe Kruger and Deering endorsee Jens Kruger have previously played with the likes of Steve Martin, Doc Watson, Willie Nelson and the great Earl Scruggs. Their original music is crafted around their discerning taste, and the result is unpretentious, cultivated, and delightfully fresh.
