Price Value Quality Love the quality of this American product. Great tone and is lightweight. Too light? Well maybe. The neck is heavier than the pot or head, results in having to hold the neck up with the left hand. Tough to chord that way. My remedy was to fabricate a strap to attach where shoulder strap attaches, then wrap around my right leg and back to the same location. This prevents rotation of the banjo, and no need for neck support. But it demands that you play from a seated position.
The frets up the neck seem to protrude higher than down the neck, and makes it a little tougher on the fingers. You can probably get use to that.(Posted on 2/1/12)
