great banjo Review by huh

this is a very well made banjo. but.....for $400-500$ they should include planetary tuners not cheesy guitar tuners. The bridge it came with was garbage, I bought my goodtime for 360 baught some planetary BANJO tuners and replaced the bridge. Your going to need to buy an armrest too. and a strap. I ordered them off of this sight and shipping was awesome. The best thing about this banjo is the wood. The action on the neck is very fast. no bleeding fingers tips that come with playing on cheeper banjos. All in all very happy with my goodtime.

A long time coming but worth the wait Review by No ifs or buts

I've been a guitar player for nearly 50 years and hankered after a banjo for just a few. Took the plunge at Eagle Music in Huddersfield and left 2 hours later with a Goodtime "Maple Queen Old Time" and a big smile. I love the simple look - I've always preferred to put money in for quality than decoration. The sound is exactly what I had in my head before I tried a few out. I LOVE it!

This banjo is perfect! It has the best sound and quality for it's price and as a small framed girl, it is the perfect size for me! It was meant to be a a beginning instrument but has worked so well, I can't see making a switch any time soon. I have played in a band for a couple months now and the sound is bright crisp and clear, highly recommended and very fun to play!

An excellent banjo with a shorter scale Review by Grumpy Pelican

I've now owned my Goodtime for over a year so I thought it was probably time to review it. I play sort of an oldtime/classical style with my nails and have always preferred the feel of a shorter scale. I like banjeaurines but find them a little too specialized for most of what I do. I was really pleased when I saw the Goodtime Parlor because I knew that it would be well done and the scale length is perfect for me. As most of you know, Goodtimes are relatively plain looking but all that I have seen are nicely built with good playing characteristics and excellent sound. Mine certainly falls into those categories. It's really my pal, always dependable and fun to play and the price was fair. It would also be great for folks with smaller hands to consider.
