- Nicest instrument I own Review by Gary Griffin
-
Price Value Quality I picked up my Deering Maple Blossom in a local pawn shop back in 1996 for $350. Since then I have been offered many times that amount for it. I would have sold it but for one mistake - I played it. The sound, feel , look, everything about it is of excellent quality. Thanks Deering.

- excellent piece Review by Fancy Jim Forrester

Price Value Quality I bought my Maple Blossom used in 1988. I see now they still make the same model! I've enjoyed the very fast fret action, and solid craftsmanship. It has never needed significant work. I've replaced the tail piece that broke with better brass piece and re-glued the 5th tuner. On my third head. I've added Fishman pickup and that was easy using the soundholes in the flange. I've heard louder and brighter banjos but I mostly played electric on stage and enjoy the more full sound acoustically. I suppose it's the only thing I own that has probably held its value since 1988 as I paid 800 back then. I can understand the price now compared to that... Me oh my how the time does fly...

- Wonderful instrument Review by Plumbman

Price Value Quality I have been playing this instrument for over a year now and it is all that Deering claims it to be. it is clear bright in tone and a well balanced instrument. There is some warm about the curly maple as well. Once properly set up movement over the strings is easy and a pleasure to play.
