Quality Price Value This is a nicely machined kit. The one I received looks exactly like the photo. The plating on the mounting posts matches that on the banjo and the wrist rest is highly polished black. The black grips on the cap screws enhance the overall appearence.
The kit contains the black plastic wrist rest, two mounting posts with integral clamping rings and screws, an allen wrench for snugging the screws, and instructions.
The mounting posts fit firmly into a slot machined in the rest. Installation requires removing two of the J-hooks in order to mate the mounting posts. Take care to get the J-hooks installed where and in the same orientation that they originally were on the banjo, and do not over-tighten them. It is a good idea to fit the posts into the slot before re-attaching the J-hooks to the banjo because the fit in the slot is quite stiff (but that keeps it nicely in place once installed).
Installed, mine looks precisely like the photo. It's comfortable, neat, attractive, and pleasent to use. No second thoughts.
