Remembering Doc Watson

Doc Watson was a truly great man. His music has touched me since the tender age of 14 when I first heard Doc's songs while listening to Greg Deering sing them for our church. Later, as a married couple, Greg and I have been very fortunate to meet Doc on several occasions during our 17 years of attending Merlefest - Doc's own musical tribute to his late son, Merle.  His wonderful musical style has created a world-wide family of people who love him. Doc will live on in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
