In the early 1980s, as demand for prewar-style instruments surged, we recognized that many modern interpretations fell short of capturing the true tone, feel, and craftsmanship of the originals. That realization sparked a mission: to create a banjo that didn’t just resemble a prewar instrument, but genuinely lived up to it.
