The Cane Toad was introduced into Gordonvale, Queensland, Australia, 22kms South of Cairns, in 1935 from Hawaii to combat the sugar cane beetle which was destroying the crops of the sugar cane industry. It has since hopped all over Queensland and into neighboring states reproducing like rabbits. It has become a major pest and threat to native wildlife and domestic pets. All efforts are now being made to eradicate this and save the innocent animals this un-native toad is harming. Help save the natural wildlife of Australia and enjoy a completely unique pouch to keep your picks safe!

Cane Toad Pick Pouch & Shipping Issues

"According to the tracking report, this was shipped from San Diego to Phoenix, AZ, by way of Hoboken, NJ, where it sat for 2 days before making it's way back across the country. Contacted customer service via text, and the response was that items were sometimes rerouted, and that I should wait a few more days before it was delivered. Having managed various aspects of customer service, I would consider this basically non-sensical (shipping from San Diego to Phoenix should take no more than 2-3 days) and unresponsive to the actual issue. But I guess it's considered too much to do to actually pick up the phone and call about a $25 item? I'm just glad it wasn't a quality instrument. The pouch itself is fun but not what I would consider a premium item."
