Banjo Stocking Stuffer Gift Ideas
The fun of the holidays is finding that little something that is “just right” for anyone you know. But, that is also the challenge when it comes to folks who have “everything” they need! When it comes to banjo players, however, I think I can make your hunt just a little bit easier.
- DEERING THUMB SCREWS:
Doesn’t sound like a “festive” gift, you say? But it will put a smile on the face of the banjo player who receives it without a doubt!
One of the easiest ways to upgrade a Goodtime resonator banjo is to buy thumb screws to use on the flange of the banjo. While the Phillips screws are sturdy, they are not as convenient to remove as a thumb screw because you need a screw driver.
The thumb screws that we use on our upper line will work very beautifully on a Goodtime resonator banjo. They make removing the resonator to tighten your banjo head so much easier. They are small enough to fit in a stocking. They are gender and age friendly. In short, they will be much appreciated by one and all.

You may want to get some extra thumb screws for ANY banjo player as well. These can often come loose without noticing on the heavier banjos and having a spare is always a great idea!!

Unique? You bet! Functional? Of course! Conversation starter? Undoubtedly.
These funny little pick pouches are perfect for the banjo player in your life. It can’t fail to put a smile on their face and is a great way to keep track of your banjo picks. - CARE CLOTHS
To keep the banjo in good condition, it is really best to wipe it down after each playing session. We have made it both safe…because you don’t want to use just anything on your wood surfaces…and easy with a simple care cloth set.
Buy one or buy all three, either way you can easily slip them into the stocking of your banjo player. It will encourage them to keep their favorite instrument clean and take one more item off your gift list. You can never have too many string sets on hand. You always need AT LEAST one because I can almost guarantee you that a string will break when you least expect it. I know…I was on vacation without a spare set when it happened to me!
