The Colorado Charity Banjo is entirely one-of-a-kind, made with a Sunshine Yellow neck bearing the shape of Colorado proudly on the peghead. With pearloid inlays of yellow set into the Midnight Maple fingerboard, and Golden Yellow resonator this banjo represents the beginning of understanding, a symbol of light and a time of rebirth, the meaning behind he color yellow in the Lakota Native American culture.
The drum head of the banjo is personally signed by Mumford & Sons with a personal message from the band.
Based on the Deering Artisan Goodtime Two this banjo has a resonator back for projection, and a violin grade maple rim that gives it a bright and clear tone. Designed and built by Deering Banjos at their factory in Spring Valley, California specifically for this auction.
