Watch and listen to Jens Kruger as he plays his clawhammer banjo tune "Squirrel In A Barrel" using four different Vega 5-string openback banjos. The banjos he plays are:

Can you hear the differences in tone? Which one is your favorite? All of the banjos were recorded on the same day, in the same location (the Deering Banjo showroom), and with the same microphone (Royer R-121) and mic placement. This way, the differences you hear are purely based on the unique tones of each banjo.
