This rugged distressed leather strap from Deering bears the traditional Eagle logo embossed in gold.

The adjustable cradle strap is 2” wide and 1/8” thick and is made specifically to carry the weight of heavier Deering banjos.

Shoelace color may vary from black, tan, or brown, depending on manufacturer availability.

Designed for Deering and Tenbrooks Banjos

This strap will not fit Eagle Series, Vega, and Goodtime Series, Boston (5&6) banjos.

Shoelace attachment included. Cradle ends will not fit Chicago screw attachment.

Some changes for continuous improvement

"I would make the main strap 1 1/2" wide or 1 1/4". The smaller adjustment pieces sized to fit and leave the leather thickness alone. You could test its support of heavier 11 pound banjos. Could be 3 to 6" longer for a taller person like me. Long live the Deering banjo company."

Great strap for my Sierra

"Fits great on my Sierra. Leather is a bit stiff. It will take a bit of time to wear in. Found a video from Deering on how to install this cradle strap. Very helpful. Found the length to fit great. I'm 6' and it seemed to fit perfectly. Shipping to a bit longer to get to Toronto Canada area but in the end we'll worth it. Thanks very much!!👍"

I am a novice, just had my first meeting with my teacher. I need a strap for my Kay banjo. Will this strap fit my instrument?: This banjo has very thick cradle ends...unless you have a lot of space I would recommend our soft leather cradle or woven leather cradle for your banjo.

Will this strap fit the Deering Maple Blossom banjo?: Yes...it will work just fine.
Will this Strap fit on a Goldstone BG-150?: This strap has thick cradle ends that work fine on our upper line Deering banjos. I don't know what the spacing is on your Goldtone banjo so I can verify whether it will work or not. I know you could safely use the the straps for our Boston/Vega/Goodtime line like the soft leather strap, the stitched leather strap, etc.
