"This rustic looking strap works quite well with my Deering Special Resonator. I attached it cradle style with the the enclosed laces to hold it together. I also ordered the Chicago screws but I'm happy with the way the strap wraps under the hooks and laces together so I probably won't be using the screws. Great balance and weight distribution. It's a sturdy strap with a nice aroma."

"This is a nice strap, especially for the price, but the standard cradle installation doesn't work with the Goodtime 2 Resonator banjo. It's simply impossible to get both ends of the strap to overlap behind a single J-Hook. There isn't enough room. That said, this strap can be attached with Chicago screws, and there's no reason not to attach it that way. I got this strap to provide enough friction to keep the neck of my Goodtime 2 from sagging, and it does the job. So it's still a good buy for Goodtime 2 Resonator owners. Just don't expect that Deering YouTube video showing cradle installation to help you. It won't."
