The Scott Avett Giving Tuesday Charity Banjo is entirely one-of-a-kind. From The Avett Brothers logo burned into the peghead of the natural maple wood neck and the metal parts finished in white Powder Finish, to the shiny black drum head personally signed by Scott Avett with the message “Much Love to You. And You and You and You” with hand drawn hearts. This is Scott’s Giving Tuesday Charity Banjo.
The charity Scott chose for this auction to benefit is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital who is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases since 1962. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of their founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.
