Meh!

Easy to use, but the 5th string is muted when I use it. I can’t get the capoed string to sing like it does un capoed. This is true for both my banjos.

Nice capo

I really like these capos, but find that the rubber wears/tears down quickly. It’s fine, it just means buying a new capo every few months or so. Still - easy to use and gets the job done.

Perfect fit

Love this capo! I've been playing a Deering Artisan Goodtime II and making do with a Shubb guitar capo, which resulted in an uneven tension and meant I needed to retune for every capo position. Q: Hi, I'm only a few weeks into my banjo experience. Is this the right capo for a Goodtime banjo? I've read complaints about various capos on various sites that complain that some capos don't work beyond the 5th fret. At this stage of my experience I'm not even sure I'll get to a level where it will even matter, but I'd still prefer to get it right the first time, in case I ever get there. I know I'm in no rush for it, but I think this is the final accessory I'll need, until I get to the point of needing a new head and bridge. I'd appreciate whatever info you can provide, if this isn't the right make/model for my banjo. Thank you
