Danny Fisher…………….. 4, rest, 1, 3, 2, 1, 4 then 1, 3, 2, 1, 3, 2, 4 rest Go to approx. the 33:00 minute in the video and she will break the pattern down around that area. I had to watch the video several times when she used the different shapes up the neck to realize that after the 4, rest, 1, 3, 2, 1, 4 pattern she did a slide up to the next chord shape and she started the pattern on the 1, 3, 2, 1, 3, 2, 4, rest. In other words, she split the pattern to move from the F shape G to the D shape G. Then from the F shape C to the D shape C and finally from the F shape D to the D shape D. Hope you find this helpful.

I watched the live cast last night but did not have a chance to write down the string sequences of the rolls she was using up the neck. I know that it started with the fourth string and a rest but what else was used to finish the two measures. I believe that later on she had a single string lick that was discussed. I really would like to know the string sequence used.

I bought a Goodtime 2 in 1999 that had a resonator and was very happy with the quality and sound that it produced. That was my first banjo. It was great beginner’s banjo
